Discovered in 1985 by the GSC, but the showing lies in an area withdrawn from staking.

Capsule Geology

Shale of the Mississippian Kayak Formation hosts two coal seams, specimens of which yielded reflectance data indicating an anthracite rank. One seam is partially exposed over a 30 cm thickness, while the other has only been recognized in float.
