Work History
Staked as 96 Kel, etc cl (Y65192) in Dec/71 by Arrow Inter-America CL following a regional program in conjunction with Inexco Mg C (Int Nuclear OCL) and Husky OL.
Restaked as 355 Bon, Mod, Rox, Girly, Lucky etc cl (Y81888) in Sept/73 by Brascan Res L, and as the adjoining Erin cl (Y81793) by Welcome North ML in Aug/73. In 1974, Brascan carried out mapping, soil sampling and hand trenching on its claims and added Julie cl (Y89729) in August, and explored the Erin group with mapping and soil sampling under a brief option.
Capsule Geology
The claims cover an undifferentiated Cambrian to Middle Devonian carbonate bank which underlies the Lower and Middle Devonian Ogilvie Formation. Numerous showings include sphalerite replacements in dolomite, sphalerite and argentiferous galena in veins, and sphalerite, galena and chalcopyrite in veins. The host rocks are strongly folded and faulted in a north-northwest direction.
