Staked as Heidi cl (YA63872) in Aug/81 by Mattagami Lake ML, which performed mapping and geochem sampling in 1981 and 1982. Mattagami's assets were acquired by Noranda in 1982.

Barite veins occur in Silurian and Devonian carbonate rocks that correlate with the Road River Group.
