Work History
Staked as Cripple, Carol, etc cl (79295) in 1959 by Cassiar Asbestos Corp, which explored with a mag survey and a shallow bulldozer trench on the eastern side. Restaked as Tater cl (YA55738) in Jul/81 by Teslin JV (Brinco Mg L, Cominco & Exploram), which performed mapping and sampling in 1981 and 1982.
Capsule Geology
The claims were staked to cover an exposure of ultramafic talus on the northeast side of Clinton Creek, about 2 km southeast of Snowshoe Pit. The ultramafic rock consists of highly sheared serpentinite with occasional chrysotile veins up to 5 mm wide in some talus fragments. It is enclosed by schist of the Nasina Series and is covered by alluvial terrace gravels above the 549 m (1800 ft) elevation.
