Work History
Both targets were staked as RM cl (79060) in Jun/62 following an aeromag survey by a joint venture between Asbestos Corp & Yukon Cons Gold Corp, which explored with mapping and a mag survey.
The southwest target was restaked as Tipp cl (79486) in Nov/63 by G. Tipper. The northeast occurrence was restaked as Doe cl (79478) in Nov/63 by C. Benson; as Mon cl (87646) in Jun/66 by Sphere Dev Corp L, which flew an aeromag survey; and as RH cl (Y65634) in Aug/72 by R. Hawley. The RH group was optioned by Minas De Cerro Dorado L, which explored with mapping and a mag survey in 1973.
Capsule Geology
Both targets consist of small serpentinized ultramafic bodies within metasedimentary rocks of the Nasina Series. Outcrop is scarce and the area is extensively overburden-covered. Fibre up to 5 mm long is poorly exposed within an area 150 by 90 m near a creek but average grade is apparently quite low.
