Work History
The earliest nearby staking includes Halifax cl (5586) in Feb/02 by H.D. Murray at the head of Examiner Gulch; McDonald and Dernier cl (6586) in Mar/03, at the head of Dion Gulch, which were surveyed later in the year and taken to lease; and Dundas cl (7505) by W. Mitchell in Apr/07 near Dion Gulch. The claims were explored with shallow pits until about 1910.
Restaked as Spec cl (YA49862) in Apr/80 by Clarke Ashley, who performed a geophysical survey later in the year and restaked as Spec cl (YA65177) in Aug/82 on behalf of Hunker Gold C. Restaked as part of a large block of Dawson cl (YA79281) in Oct/83 by Perron Gold ML, which performed mapping, sampling and an airborne EM survey in 1984 and mag and VLF-EM surveys in 1986.
R. Truswell staked the Hardrock fractional cl (YB38770) at Grand Forks in Sep/90 and trenched in 1991.
Capsule Geology
The claims were staked over Klondike Schist (Permian) which is cut by numerous quartz veins and lenses.
