Work History
Staked as Hart cl 1-22 (Y27466) in Jun/68 by Montana ML which staked additional Hart cl 51-63 (Y32612) in Jul/69 about 3.2 km to the northeast. Explored by prospecting and stream sediment sampling in 1969. The Grace cl (Y27071) were staked immediately to the east in Jun/68 by Iskut Silver ML.
Capsule Geology
The claims are underlain by Lower Proterozoic sedimentary rocks of the Gillespie Lake and Quartet Groups which are cut by Middle Proterozoic mafic sills. Copper, zinc and lead stream sediment anomalies were outlined in the southeast and northern portions of the main claim group. Argillite float containing disseminated pyrite with minor chalcopyrite was found, and one specimen rich in galena gave an assay of 59.7% Pb, 157.7 g/t Ag, 0.07% Cu, and trace Zn and Au.
