Work History
Discovered by Murphy and Heon during 1:50 000 scale geological mapping in 1993. B. Lueck staked FP cl (1-12) (YB42360) and EFP cl (1-76) (YB42657) in Feb/94 and March/94 respectively, 1 - 3 km west and southwest of showing.
Capsule Geology
The area is underlain by limestone, calcareous phyllite, meta-sandstone and pebbly meta-sandstone of the Proterozoic or Lower Cambrian Hyland Group. The Hyland Group rocks are brecciated along a north-south lineament. Breccia collected by Murphy and Heon assayed 118 ppb Au, 5 ppm Bi, 382 ppm As, 8.7 ppm Ag, 173 ppm Cu, 3 882 ppm Pb, 2211 ppm Zn, and 11 ppm W.
