Work History
Staked as Ophir cl (5940) in Aug/02. The Ready Bullion cl (5977) and Yukon Star cl (6171) were staked across the river in Aug and Sep/02. The Goldike cl (8399) was staked in Sep/36, about 5.6 km southeast of the Ophir claims.
Capsule Geology
The area is underlain by Paleozoic? metasedimentary rocks and gneissic granite. The claims were probably staked on quartz veins.
