Work History
First staked as the Henry cl (63093) in Jul/52 and again as the Frankie & Steve cl (73593) in Jun/58 by Prospectors Airways L. Restaked as Gold cl (Y30821) in Feb/69 by Yukon Revenue ML, which explored with a mag & EM survey and bulldozer trenching later in the year; as Gold cl (YA24010) in Apr/79 by Walter Clark; and as Gold cl (YA59311) in Dec/80 by Skagway Moly Inc, which performed geochemical and EM surveys in 1982 and changed its name to Shakwak ECL in 1983.
Restaked as C-Gold cl (YA96781) in Feb/87 by Harjay ECL.
Capsule Geology
Highly oxidized copper mineralization occurs with magnetite in an epidote skarn developed in chloritic and serpentinized volcanic rocks near a pyritic granite intrusion. A well mineralized specimen assayed 10.3% Cu, 17.1 g/t Ag and trace Au. The best chip sample averaged 0.6% Cu across 12 m.
