Work History
Staked as AL cl (Y63624) in Oct/71 by Northair ML and Bow River Res L, which explored by grid soil sampling and geological mapping in 1972. The Rod cl (Y66907) were added in Sep/72, and explored by grid soil sampling and geological mapping in 1973 and both groups were covered by EM 16 and mag surveys in Sep/73. A single hole (182.9 m) was drilled on an EM conductor on the Al cl in 1974.
The Tuffy cl (Y66099), staked immediately to the south in Apr/72 by A. Arsenault, were restaked by part of 228 Fed cls (Y76108) in Aug/73 by United Keno Exploration, which carried out grid soil sampling later in the season.
United Keno Hill Mines staked Pop cl (YA85455) 3 km to the NW of the Fed cl in Sep/84, probably to protect the surface rights.
Capsule Geology
The claims overlie a complex granodiorite intrusion near its contact with Mt Nansen volcanics. Two weak copper soil anomalies and several EM conductors were outlined on the Al claims during the 1972-73 work but no mineralization was found in the 1974 hole.
