Capsule

Work History

Staked as Kirk cl (Y18910) in Jul/67 by Aishihik Syndicate (Mt Washington Copper CL, Granite City Platinum L, Coin Canyon ML and Tay River ML) which conducted prospecting and geochemical sampling later in the year. Tay River ML was controlled by Utica ML, Silver Standard ML and Copper Ridge ML.
U. Lenz staked Ram Two cl (YA82966) 1.6 km to the northwest in Sep/84 in conjunction with nearby placer exploration and Dodgex Inc restaked the Kirk group as Bunyip cl (YB6129) in Aug/87.

Capsule Geology

Claims cover a 600 gamma magnetic anomaly. The property straddles the contact between andesite (Mt Nansen Group?) and a granodiorite intrusion. Minor chalcopyrite and copper oxide was found in the volcanic rocks on the north and west sides of the claims.
Weakly anomalous copper values were found in soil samples from swampy areas on the Kirk 4 and 13 claims.
