Work History

Staked as Wade cl (YA85959) in Oct/84 by Noranda, which performed detailed sampling in 1985.

Capsule Geology

The claims were staked on gold silt anomalies draining a sequence of Permo-Pennsylvanian Station Creek Formation volcanic flows and pyroclastic rocks, and Upper Triassic Nikolai Greenstone and Chitistone Limestone and Lower Tertiary Amphitheatre Formation non-marine sedimentary rocks, along the north side of the Wade Mountain Fault. The 1985 work gave disappointing results and it was hypothesized that the source of the gold is a paleoplacer in the Amphitheatre Formation.
