Work History
Staked as Eureka cl (74877) in May/60 and Moose cl (75742) in May/61 by Glen Harris, who did some hand trenching in 1961. Restaked as Cal (Y9874) in Aug/66 by C. Langlois; Raven cl (Yll462) in Dec/66 by Homestake Ml Dev CL, following the release of GSC aeromagnetic maps; as Doug cl (Y24107) in Mar/68 by H. Regehr; and as Kel cl (Y25321) in Jul/68 by Kel-Glen ML, which carried out prospecting and rock trenching in 1968.
Capsule Geology
Chalcocite and bornite occur as random lenses, irregular patches and narrow shear zones in Upper Triassic Nikolai Greenstone. Kel-Glen reported it had located a copper showing that assayed up to 3.6% Cu but the best zone sampled by Cathro assayed only 0.9% Cu across a width of 0.9 m.
