Capsule

Work History

Staked as the EG cl 30-37 (Y94651) and cl 40-47 (Y94659) in Aug/74 by Dynasty Explorations Ltd, which carried out geochem sampling, mapping and minor hand trenching in 1975.
Restaked as Tet 3-8 (YB65014) by J Hajek in Sept/95.

Capsule Geology

The region is underlain by variably faulted Middle Proterozoic Pinguicula group rocks and Middle to Upper Proterozoic Hematite Creek (formerly Upper Pinguicula) carbonate and clastic rocks.
Sphalerite and pyrite occur in Pinguicula Group (Unit C) massive, flaggy, black weathering limestone breccia and dolomitized limestone interbedded with black rusty shale. A chip sample was taken across the strike of the formation and assays ranged up to 2.2% zinc. The best continuous sample assayed 1.8% zinc across 15.2 m.
