Located, but not staked, by Atlas EL for the Hess Project (Atlas EL, Quebec Cartier, Atlas EL & Phillip Bros. (Can.) L) in 1967. Prospected and sampled in 1968.
Capsule Geology
Pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and scheelite are found in a narrow zone at the contact between a 6 m wide limestone bed and a diorite dyke. A representative sample assayed 0.06% Cu, 0.02% WO3, 0.05% Zn, 0.05% Pb, 6.2 g/t Ag and trace Au.
