Work History
Treadwell Yukon CL prospected this area in 1930. The showings were discovered by Atlas EL for the Hess Project (Atlas EL, Quebec Cartier Mg C and Phillip Bros (Can) L) in 1968.
Capsule Geology
Treadwell reported that arsenopyrite was abundant in the contact aureole around a large stock which cuts Devono-Mississippian sedimentary rocks. The Hess Project found seven small showings within a 0.8 km radius of the location shown. Four of the showings contain coarse-grained molybdenite and minor erythrite in narrow quartz veins. Of the remaining three showings, two are quartz veins with pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite and the other is a quartz vein containing galena and erythrite.
