Work History

The area was prospected by A.E. Aho and C. Poli in 1961 in search of galena float rumoured to assay 8571.2 g/t Ag. Staked as Argent cl (82503) in Oct/62 by Silver Titan ML, which conducted mapping and soil sampling in 1963 and bulldozer trenching in 1964. In Nov/65, Peso Silver ML purchased a 10% interest and the remaining 90% was transferred to Cima ML (an Atlas EL subsidiary) in Sep/67.
Restaked as Argent cl (YA42340) in Aug/80 by B. Stewart and G. Poli, as Argent cl (YA77356) in Sep/83 by B. Stewart, and as Elsa cl (YA83315) in Mar/87 by M. Kilby.

Capsule Geology

Prospecting and soil sampling located a transported limonite gossan with high geochemical values in zinc. Trenching located three unmineralized veins that cut a unit which resembles the Keno Hill quartzite.
