Work History
Staked as Par cl (62687) in Mar/55, following releases of GSC heavy metal assays of stream sediment samples, by Northwestern EL (Kennco), which explored with soil sampling and prospecting later in the year.
Restaked as Silver Filing cl (Y26734) in Jul/68 and 200 Dep cl (Y31954) in Apr/69, by Dr E. Dressen and G. Stevens, who explored by geochemical sampling, prospecting and overburden drilling in 1969-70.
Partially restaked as Plata cl (YA41368) in Oct/79 by E. Wiez and M. Zeiler, who trenched in 1980.
Capsule Geology
The anomalous heavy metal content in silt from streams draining the Par claims was attributed to a high zinc background in schist and phyllite of the Late Proterozoic-Early Cambrian Hyland Group. Extensive work on the Dep group failed to locate significant mineralization.
