Work History
Staked as Bata cl (96869) in Dec/65 and Bob cl (Yl2l33) in Mar/67 by General Enterprises L, which conducted ground mag and EM surveys and built a 96 km winter road in the spring of 1967, and trenched with a bulldozer later in the year. The Alpha cl (Y91246) were restaked immediately to the southwest in Oct/74 by L. McCowan.
The target was restaked as VSE cl (YA48001) in Aug/79 by Welcome North ML. The VSE group was transferred in 1980 to Pelly Project (Welcome North ML and E & B EL), which conducted airborne mag and EM surveys and geochem sampling.
Capsule Geology
Chalcopyrite-bearing quartz veins occur in metasedimentary rocks. The 1967 geophysical surveys located several anomalies but the 1980 surveys gave negative results.
