Work History
Staked as Arrow cl (Y59039) in Sep/70 by the Anvil Synd (Can Reserve O & GL, Aquitaine C of Can L, Can Southern Pet L, Occidental Mls L, and Husky OL) which explored with mapping, geochem and gravity surveys and one hole (182.4 m) on claim Arrow 3 in 1971, and more mapping and geochem sampling plus an IP survey in 1972. Lobell ML added Lobo cl (Y98446) to the northeast in May/75 and explored with a ground mag survey in 1975 and mapping and geochem sampling in 1976.
Restaked as Tim cl (YA97510) in Jun/87 by B. Kelhert and Selmane Res Corp. Eagle Lake Res L acquired the property in 1989 and subsequently optioned it to Greater Lenora Res L which tied on EL cl (YB26624) in August, then assigned the property to Garden Lake Res L which drilled 2 holes totalling 238 m.
Capsule Geology
The 1971 hole was drilled to test a 1.8 mgal gravity anomaly associated with a magnetic low. It intersected quartz-biotite schist of assumed Cambrian age, which contains narrow zones of pyrite- pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite mineralization. The hole bottomed in 40% sulphides over 0.5 m.
One of the 1989 holes redrilled the 1971 hole while the other tested a nearby gravity anomaly. Both intersected stratabound sulphides without significant base metal mineralization.
