Work History
Staked as Hope & Ed cl (96441) in Dec/65 by Domo ML, which conducted mapping and soil sampling in Aug/66. Restaked as Flip cl (Y30974) in Mar/69 by M. Early, who conducted mapping, geochem and SP surveys later in the year.
Capsule Geology
The staking was based on a rumour that mineralized float had been found in the area, which is poorly exposed and probably underlain by an inlier of Cambro-Ordovician siltstone and chert between mid-Cretaceous granodiorite to the west and tuff of the South Fork Volcanics to the east. No mineralization was found and geochemical response was negative.
