Work History

Staked as EX cl (71319) by Cominco in Sep/55, which performed hand trenching. Restaked as Deb cl (Y2579) in Mar/66 by Yukon Copper L, which carried out soil sampling and changed its name to Northern Empire ML.

Capsule Geology

The claims are underlain by Devono-Mississippian clastic rocks and were probably staked to cover a prominent gossan about one km from the lake. No sulphides were seen and no geochemical response was obtained. The gossan is probably caused by pyrite.
