Work History
Staked as Guy cl (89357) in Sep/65 by Mt Billings Venture (Asarco, Serro and Duval). Only preliminary sampling was done.
Restaked as Hal cl (Y28684) in Oct/68 by M. Martin.
Capsule Geology
Scheelite and chalcopyrite occur in skarn, either in roof pendants in the Cretaceous Mt Billings Batholith, or in Proterozoic or Cambrian limy phyllite and limestone to the north. Samples collected by Mt Billings Venture assayed as high as 0.85% WO3, but the skarn patches are quite small.
