Work History
Staked by H. Brodell as Toy cl (88119) in Apr/63, and as Toy cl (Y16366) in Sep/66. The property was optioned in 1966 by Atlas EL, which conducted mapping, geochem sampling and geophysics in 1967. Restaked as Rea cl (Y93595) in Aug/75 by Mountaineer ML, which performed mapping and geochem surveys in 1976.
Restaked as Toy cl 1-14 (YB62274) by A. McMillan in Sept/95.
Capsule Geology
Erratically distributed lenses of massive pyrrhotite containing minor chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena occur in silicified skarny portions of a Proterozoic sequence of locally calcareous schist and gneiss cut by sills and dykes near an indistinct intrusive contact. Grab samples from a lens 7.6 m long and up to 3 m wide assayed 34.3 to 1525.7 g/t Ag, 0.2 to 78.0% Pb, 9.5 to 10.9% Zn and 0.4 to 0.8% Cu, and up to 10.3 g/t Au.
