Work History
Staked as Ron, Louise, etc. cl (88509) in Sep-Oct/63 by Norquest Joint Venture (Anaconda, Asbestos Corp, Bralorne Pioneer, Granby, New Jersey Zinc, and Utah), which conducted geological mapping, grid soil sampling and mag survey in 1964-65. Restaked as Ace cl (Y2711) in May/66 by Hyland River ML; and as Ann and Shirl cl (YA57436) in Mar/81 by Pacific Tungsten Corp.
Capsule Geology
Pyrrhotite, galena and sphalerite with minor pyrite and chalcopyrite occur as narrow discontinuous lenses in bands of epidote-rich gneiss, which is intruded by numerous dikes related to a nearby stock. Minor showings were found in 30 locations. Three metre chip samples across the two best showings assayed 0.9 and 2.7% Zn, 0.05 and 0.35% Pb, 0.01% Cu, 0.01% Cd, 3.43 and 20.57 g/t Ag and trace Au.
