Work History
Staked as Grew cl (YA18310) in Jun/77 by Amax, which explored with mapping, geochem and EM surveys in 1977 and 1978, conducted more mapping and geochem sampling in 1982 in a joint venture with Procan Can L, and transferred its interest to Canamax Res Inc in 1983.
Capsule Geology
Minor sphalerite and galena occur in veins and as disseminations within chert-agglomerate-carbonate sequence of Mississippian age. The showing lies on the west side of a dacite, rhyolite, tuff and breccia assemblage containing 2 to 10% pyrrhotite that is intruded by two small biotite quartz monzonite plutons. Massive bedded barite beds are interbedded with limestone.
