Work History
Staked as Tom cl (70554) in Jun/55 by T.H. Cross, etc. and optioned to Northern Mountain (1954) Prospecting Synd, which mapped and hand trenched in 1955.
Restaked as Kon cl (YA70934) in Mar/84 by a joint venture between Canamax Res Inc and Pacific Trans-Ocean Res L, which performed mapping, geochem and airborne mag & EM surveys later in the year. Pacific Trans Ocean relinquished its interest in the claims to Canamax in May/89.
Capsule Geology
Chalcopyrite and tetrahedrite occur in quartz veins 0.15 to 1.4 m wide, which were traced for up to 91.4 m along strike in float. The best chip sample gave 3.2% Cu and 10.3 g/t Ag across 1.4 m while a selected specimen assayed 7.8% Cu, 1560.0 g/t Ag and 15.1 g/t Au. The veins cut Lower Cambrian carbonate rocks.
