Work History

Staked as Sam cl 1-8 (Y62024) in Aug/71 by Aquitaine Company of Canada Ltd, which carried out geological mapping and prospecting later in the year.

Capsule Geology

Simple crossfibre chrysotile occurs in a serpentinized peridotite sill 2100 m long and 300 m thick that dips about 25° east. The sill gives a 100 gamma aeromagnetic anomaly. Six showings are present in the south half of the sill and these have an average grade of from 1 to 2% fibre and an average length of about 0.5 cm.
