Work History

Staked as Matt cl (YA82715) in Aug/84 by Central Electricity Generating Board E (Can), which performed a geochem survey in 1985. Noranda tied on Bold cl (YA93807) to the north in Oct/85. R. Bilquist tied on Boud cl (YA96269) to the northwest in Sep/86 and optioned them to Sirius Res Corp, which performed mapping and geochem sampling in 1987.
Skukum Gold Inc tied on Hal cl (YA98346) to the northwest in Jul/87 and conducted geochemical surveys, prospecting and mapping in 1988.

Capsule Geology

Quartz veins with pyrite and galena cut a contact zone between Eocene volcanic flows and Cretaceous plutonic rocks.
Three showings were located on the Boud claims. The Creek showing consists of quartz veins up to 1.2 m wide containing 1% pyrite and minor galena. Specimens assayed up to 126.2 g/t Ag.
The Les Showing consists of veins up to 5 m wide along a 1400 m long topographic linement. Specimens from the veins assayed up to 2.3% Pb and 216.0 g/t Ag.
The Angel Wing Showing also follows a topographic lineament and consists of chalcedonic quartz with traces of pyrite and galena filling cavities up to 4 cm across. Specimens assayed up to 2.9 g/t Au.
Central Electricity discovered a 300 m long float train of radioactive volcanic boulders containing amorphous black uranium minerals filling fractures. Specimens averaged 0.11% U3O8 and also contained cerium, lanthanium, titanium, sulphur and iron.
