Capsule

Work History

Staked as Tim cl (YA70413) in Sep/83 by Regional Res L and transferred to Fairfield Mls L, which explored with mapping, geochem sampling in 1984 and 1986. In 1988, Chevron Mls L performed geochem sampling, mapping, an IP survey and excavator trenching under an option that was terminated in 1989.

Capsule Geology

Numerous float and bedrock occurrences of iron and manganese oxide occur near a limestone-shale contact in Lower Cambrian sedimentary rocks. Trenching traced the zone for a length of 400 m and a width of up to 30 m. The best assays were 353.1 g/t and 9.1% Pb across a 4 m chip sample, and 1248.0 g/t Ag and 49.5% Pb from a specimen. Two other zones 2 m and 5 m wide were uncovered, but their length was not determined.
