Work History
Staked as 208 Bren, Sid, Sam etc. cl (YB10718) in Dec/87 by M. Holloway at the south end of a large block covering the Shootamook (105B 045) gold prospect. The claims were optioned to Yukon Yellow Metal Exploration Ltd and Oropex Minerals Inc. Blast trenching and sampling were carried out between October and December, 1988, and further rock and silt sampling was done in September and October, 1989.
Capsule Geology
The claims were staked to cover a multi-element Geological Survey of Canada stream sediment anomaly (GSC Open File 1289). They are underlain by Early Cambrian limestone and limy phyllite, cut by strong northwest-trending lineaments.
