Capsule

Work History

Staked as Thrall cl (YA65947) in Jul/81 by Getty Can Mls L, which performed mapping and geochem sampling in 1981 and 1982 and a mag survey in 1982. The claims were transferred to Getty Res L in Aug/86.

Capsule Geology

The claims were staked on a GSC Mo-W-Cu silt anomaly from a stream draining Lower Paleozoic or earlier biotite schist and gneiss adjacent to the Cassiar Batholith. Prospecting located a Cretaceous granodiorite stock about 1600 m long containing stockwork quartz-molybdenite mineralization. Scattered mineralization was found over a length of 1200 m within a soil anomaly 4500 m by up to 800 m that closely follows the stock. Within the anomaly, Mo values exceed 9 ppm and are associated with scattered high Cu, W, F and Ag values. The best specimen assayed 0.03% Mo and 8 g/t Ag. Traces of chalcopyrite are also present.
