Work History
Staked as part of a large block of DU cl (YA28903) in Jun/78 by Klinkit JV (DuPont of Can EL & Duval Corp), which explored with detailed mapping and geochem sampling in 1978-80 and one hole (243 m) in 1981. The DuPont interest was transferred to CSA Mls Inc in 1984 and to Goldsearch Inc in 1985.
Capsule Geology
Disseminated cassiterite and huebnerite occur in a vein swarm in roof pendants of Carboniferous sedimentary rocks (Yukon Tanana Terrane) in a late phase of the Cretaceous Seagull Batholith. Selected specimens assayed up to 2% Sn but the best drill intersection assayed only 0.14% Sn over 1.0 m.
