Work History
Staked as Mun cl (YA12387) in Mar/77 by DC Synd (Dome and Cominco), which explored with rock and geochem sampling and mapping in 1977-79, and mag and geochem surveys and trenching in 1981 and 2 holes (154 m) in 1982.
Capsule Geology
Cassiterite and scheelite occur with malayaite, sphalerite and pyrrhotite and minor fluorite and galena in skarn zones within a sequence of Carboniferous mafic volcanics, clastic and carbonate rocks (Yukon Tanana Terrane) at the margin of the Cretaceous Seagull Batholith. A chip sample across 1.2 m assayed 6.5% Zn and 0.04% WO3. The drill holes intersected low tin and tungsten values.
