Work History
Staked as Billy and Gladys cl (56947) in Jun/47 by C.R. Craft and J. Smith; as Meister cl (63723) in Oct/52 by P. Brandes; and as Jay & WJ cl (75917) in June and Aug/62 by E. Brodhagen, T.J. Rubeo and W. Howden.
Restaked as part of a large block of MR cl (YA66451) in Jul/81 by Regional Res L, which entered a joint venture with Getty Can Met L in 1983 and transferred its interest to Fairfield Mls L in 1986. B. Bailey staked Toni cl (YA70177) across the lake to the north in Jun/83.
Capsule Geology
The property is underlain by schist, quartzite and limestone (Cambrian and older) about 3.2 km from a granodiorite stock. White bull quartz veins are common in the schist, and these occasionally contain minor chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. The quartzite contains disseminated green mica that could easily be mistaken for malachite staining.
