Work History
Staked as Watsit cl 1-8 (Y93673) in Sep/75 by Noranda Exploration Company Ltd which carried out soil sampling and propsecting in 1977. Restaked as SB cl 1-24 (YA28643) in May/78 by T. McCrory, and as Star cl 9-16 (YA57195) in Nov/80 by Noranda. Noranda added Star cl 1-8 (YA67377) and carried out geological mapping and linecutting in 1981.
Capsule Geology
The property is underlain by Upper Cambrian to Lower Ordovician Rabbitkettle Formation silty limestones and Ordovician Sunblood Formation dolostones. Soil sampling carried out in 1977 outlined an area with anoumalous zinc values (up to 4 000 ppm zinc).
