Minor amounts of sphalerite were found in Neoproterozoic to Lower Cambrian phyllitic siltstone, marmorized limestone and staurolite-chlorite schist of the undivided Narchilla and Vampire Formations. The mineralization occurs as stratabound disseminations and veinlets. Channel samples returned up to 0.85% zinc, 0.15% lead and 2.7 g/t silver over 0.9 to 5.5 m widths.
